THE DUNGEON IS ALIVE! FOUR NIGHTS OF SWORDS, SORCERY & SYNTHS is WYRD WAR's first multi-media/multi-venue festival coming to Portland, Oregon July 13-16, 2023. Much more than a mere music festival, this will be a fully immersive sensory experience and the perfect opportunity to explore some of the best venues that Oregon has to offer during one of the most beautiful seasons in the Pacific Northwest. Four day all-inclusive wristbands go on sale here at midnight on March 20, 2023. Please read this entire post carefully and message us at wyrdwar@gmail.com if you have any questions. We will not be able to respond to questions left as comments on social media. Please do not contact any of the venues or artists directly for wristbands or questions.

DAY I: Our adventure begins at Portland's historic Hollywood Theatre with a fantasy film classic on the massive 50' screen plus a very special guest! This event is all-ages.

DAY II: We venture forth to spend the entire day at Enchanted Forest in Turner, Oregon where Mortiis will perform his masterpiece Født til å Herske for the first time ever just before dusk! Local dungeon synth maestro Cold  Sanctum will provide direct support. This is an all-ages event, but you must have a WYRD WAR wristband to attend. Your wristband permits you into the park all day. Rides, food, beverages and gifts from their gift shops are not included. You are permitted to pack your own lunch, but please note that Enchanted Forest is a strictly alcohol and drug free environment. Official after-party at The Coffin Club with DJ Dennis Dread and DJ Sacrifyx 10pm-2am (21+).

DAY III: Mortiis at Star Theater with direct support from death rock flag bearers Deathcharge, DJ Joe "Thrones" Preston and special guest (21+)!

DAY IV: Back to Hollywood Theatre for a DOUBLE FEATURE with Cold Sanctum performing his original live score to HÄXAN (1922), followed by a surprise satanic panic feature film that brings our theme of swords, sorcery & synths full circle (all-ages)! We will also host a WYRD WAR DUNGEON MARKET with select vendors selling adjacent wares in the upstairs lobby. Throughout the weekend, visit the WYRD WAR GALLERY to experience a huge exhibition of original hand-painted sword & sorcery themed movies posters from the Republic of Ghana's legendary mobile cinema movement! Admission is free with a wristband. Please read the following carefully before making your purchase:

• Wristbands are associated with the email account entered at point of purchase. Wyrd War will contact you after your purchase with details on how you will receive your wristband at will call.

• Wristbands are only transferrable if Wyrd War is notified through the original email of the purchaser 48 hours before the event begins. If you attempt to sell your wristband, Wyrd War must be notified of any name change by July 11 or the new buyer will not be admitted. 

• Wristbands are non-refundable. We will only refund purchases if the entire event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. 

• The world is a very unpredictable place these days. While we work tirelessly to bring you historical once-in-a-lifetime experiences, the final lineup is subject to change at any time due to circumstances beyond our control.  

• Tickets for individual days will become available at each respective venue at a later date (stay tuned here for details).
