NEW FANTASIES FOR OLD CHURCHES: A NIGHT OF FANTASY MUSIC

FIEF's highly anticipated first show anywhere on the West Coast will be an evening of high fantasy synth music for the ages! Hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, FIEF emerged on the burgeoning dungeon synth scene in 2016, quickly capturing the imaginations of dice-rolling elves and discerning druids with medieval melodies that evoke enchanted high halls, lantern lit tales of wonder and mystical meanderings through primeval forests. FIEF's latest full length offering, VI, sees this elusive bard achieving breathtakingly lofty compositions that retain their comforting lilt while further refining his vision.

HEDGE WIZARD has gallantly stepped up to replace CONIFEROUS MYST after unforeseen illness temporarily derailed all live appearances. We will always prioritize the health and wellness of our artists, and we wish CONIFEROUS MYST a full and speedy return to form soon. In the meantime, the honorable HEDGE WIZARD brings his lush, mystical and kinetic old school dungeon synth compositions to The Old Church for his debut Oregon performance (his second appearance anywhere on the West Coast!). The elusive ginger bearded spell weaver known as HEDGE WIZARD dazzled listeners a decade ago with several limited edition demos before unleashing his acclaimed debut full length More True Than Time Thought. Ten years later, after many fans had accepted that perhaps their beloved Toledo, Ohio conjurer had vanished entirely, he triumphantly returned with the fantastic sophomore full length Neighborwoods. Behold the arrival of the Maiar!

WRAITH KNIGHT recently released his fantastic 2022 debut full length album Deep in the Dungeon of the Dragonlord on vinyl for the first time and is now armored to conquer new horizons with a campaign of stirring live appearances. WRAITH KNIGHT was introduced to WYRD WAR audiences through his appearances at the Enchanted Forest in Turner, Oregon in 2023 and The Coffin in 2024 in support of Canadian muscle rock legend THOR. His stirring J.R.R. Tolkien inspired recital at the Old Church will entail a special composition performed on the venue's magnificent 1882 Hook & Hastings pipe organ.

This entire concert will be recorded for upcoming vinyl and VHS releases to be coproduced by WYRD WAR & OUT OF SEASON. Rise from your dungeons and make fantasy synthesizer history with us on Saturday September 13, 2025.
